What is CASA?
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a trained community of citizens who are appointed by a judge to speak up for abused and neglected children in court. CASA volunteers research the child's background details to help the court make a sound decision about the child's future.
What is CASA's mission?
The mission of the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association, together with its state and local members, is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.
